Today I bought a copy of Joe Friel's The Cyclist's Training Diary. I HOPE it will help me to better organize my notes. I'll probably continue to keep my "big" notebook, because the pre-printed book is shorter on space than I've been used to. To put it in shipboard lingo, the "big" notebook can be the rough log; the pre-printed one can be the fair log.
I can always write descriptions of various workouts in the "notes" section at the back of the pre-printed book, which would save a lot of space in the day-to-day entries. The snag is, I don't yet have a definitely set Workout A, Workout B, and so on. For instance, "cadence drills" can mean several things.
I'm sure I'll work it out. Which reminds me, it's time to do my off-bike exercises.
