How now? I won't learn anything more if I stop reading, but there seems to be a lot of contradictory information out there. I don't want to do the wrong thing and end up injured.
"Pulling up" causes a lot of tugging at my shoes' cleats, I feel my feel sliding a bit inside the shoes, and the clicking-cleats noise of "pulling up" gets annoying. I fact, it makes me worry about damaging the cleats, or wearing them out too fast.
They make compasses to use for finding your way through the woods. I wish there were one for finding my way through this thicket of advice for the cyclist.
