Time flies for sure. That means that June 2017, and Tour de Cure, will be here before I know it. I got a suggestion for building more strength: 40/20 intervals. That means, go as hard as I can for forty seconds; ride easily for 20 seconds; repeat three times for one set. Five minutes between sets. I have it on my schedule for Tuesday and Friday this week.
It's hard to ride full-force for as long as 40 seconds, but I've got to do it if I'm to make any more progress. The trouble with me is, I'm a wimp when it comes to truly hard efforts. Time to get over that!
