There seemed no reason to buy a different kind of saddle, so the new one is the same kind as the old one. I hope it lasts at least as long. The old saddle wasn't three and a half years old. I did, however, ride well over 10,000 miles on that saddle. Closer to 11,000, in fact. Wear and tear, I guess.
From the bike shop I rode straight home, so the new saddle won't get a good workout until tomorrow. I work hard; why shouldn't my bike -- all parts of it -- work hard, too?
