Easy to say, ride with my mouth shut. That's not so easy to do when I'm pushing the pace and need more air.
Today I attempted the workout that Get Fast! prescribes for the day. I felt better than I did yesterday, but still couldn't spend as much time as I was supposed to in the upper heart rate zones. Oh, well. At least I tried.
The sky looked pretty stormy. For a while it sprinkled a bit, and I was sure I was about to get soaked. I was lucky, and the rain didn't start until after I was home.
Tomorrow's workout is just cruising (moderate). That will let me catch my breath a bit!
