Some people like the late evenings of Daylight Savings. I'm not crazy about it, because it looks earlier than the clock says it is, and it makes it harder to tell when to get ready for bed. I'd rather it got dark a little sooner in the evenings than light, later in the morning.
As perhaps you can guess, I'm a morning person; I always was. Not that it seems like morning when I go out for a bicycle ride when it's still pitch dark. I go then because I'm sure of getting my ride. If I wait until after work, it's to easy to find "reasons" not to ride. Among them is that it's too hot now.
And sometimes it really is too hot. When heat advisories are in effect, hard outdoor exercise isn't a great idea, especially if you aren't acclimated to it. Just think what Tour de France riders go through. Sometimes it get well into the nineties (Fahrenheit), and they're out there pedaling away much faster than most of us can, and they're doing it for hours on end!
