The Garmin said my recovery since the last ride was Good, yet it was still hard to get my heart rate up to Steady. By the time I did, my legs were tiring. And my lungs sure need more work at that HR level!
I'm not sure whether I should attempt this workout again tomorrow, or try to do what the training plan says. The plan says, cruising with 5 x (5 min brisk), and 3 minutes rest between intervals.
Or have I gotten my Garmin improperly programmed? As it stands now, Zone 3 is "moderate", and so on. I've got to check into that...
While I was riding this morning, it didn't rain where I was. In fact, the sky was mostly clear. But just about everywhere I looked, I saw active thunderheads on the horizon. I rode the hybrid to work; it rained hard during the day; and now the poor bike is all mucked up again. Oh, the trials of commuting by bike!
