As for the OOPS! -- after about an hour and ten minutes, I stopped to put on more sunblock. After pressing the "pause" button on my Garmin, I unthinkingly pushed "Save Ride". So I wound up with "two" rides today.
Interestingly, my average speed on both rides was the same. Average cadence was very nearly the same; 80/81. That makes it a lot easier to determine what to enter in my ride log.
Towards the end my stomach began to feel uncomfortable. I ate a bite of Clif Bar about every half-hour, but it looks like I need to get used to eating more than that. I'm aiming for a century ride, after all, and the gut is said to be at least as trainable as the legs. So OK, gut, get moving!
