The next morning I tried a ride, and did OK. I kept it a little shorter than usual, and didn't try any vigorous work. Today I seemed to be back to normal. Unfortunately I gypped myself out of 0.2 miles by forgetting to press the Start button on my Garmin. It drives me crazy when I do that!
I've been trying to keep a pace of about 15 mph, and have been doing pretty well with it. Next week it's time to schedule simulated hills, and some "hi-cad" work. That means, a very low gear, but strive to pedal at 100 rpm or more without bouncing all over the saddle. It's quite a workout for the cardiovascular system!
