Last night I got out the foam roller to give those hard-working limbs a massage. That always makes them feel better :) At the end of the ride yesterday there was a massage station, but I decided to skip it.
Today the wind sounds like it's stronger than it was yesterday, so it's a good thing that Tour de Cure isn't today. In fact, I'm taking a break from bicycles today. Tomorrow starts more Bike to Work, and I hope the weather is more cooperative than it was last week. Bike to Work Week has been extended by two days precisely because of so much bad weather last week.
Something amusing: yesterday's rest stop at about mile 40 was at a farm where there were goats. I noticed one that was tan from the tip of its nose to just behind the forelegs. Except for a few small tan spots, the rest of it was white. It looked like it had on a T-shirt!
At this point, I'm not sure I'll do Tour de Cure next year. I admit that I'm shy about asking for donations. This year I couldn't make many of the training rides. Well, we'll see when then 2017 ride is announced.
